The Department of English was upgraded in 1998 by starting B.A. Degree course with Communicative English and Journalism, as subsidiaries. The Department has overcome its teething troubles and is on the road to achieving commendable results following the earnest efforts being put in by the Department. The pass percentage each year is on the upswing.
