Has 24 years of service and has published  articles in Samakalika Malayalam, Kerala Kaumudi and Sauhridam. Acted as advisor to College Union (1998-2002), Convener Admission Committee, Convener Arivu Sahitya vedi, member - NAAC Committee and Library Advisory Board of the college. Member - Human Rights organization, Ankanam Samskarika Vedi and Consumer Cell.

DEPARTMENT OF SANSKRIT

The Sanskrit Dept has been functioning from the very beginning of the college. Many students who select Sanskrit as their second language come out with flying colours.

Seminars Attended/Papers Presented Presented a paper in the National Seminar on the Post Independent Hindi Dramas held on 29th, 30th March 2000 conducted by the Department of Hindi, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Regional Centre, Thrissur.   Attended the National Symposium on "Changing concepts of values in the Contemporary Indian Society" organized by the Department of Hindi, on 17th and 18th November 1995 as part of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Cochin University of Science and Technology.   Participated in the National Seminar on "Nirala" held on 3/10/96 under the auspices of the Department of Hindi, Government Arts and Science College, Calicut in connection with the silver jubilee celebrations.   Participated in the National Seminar on Hindi poetry on 9th 10th & 11th February 2000 at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady.   Participated in the National Seminar on post modernism and Hindi Novel held on 16th & 17th February 2001 at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Regional Centre, Thrissur.   Published a Research article in the national journal "Samgradhan" edited by Dr. V.V. Viswam.   Translated various articles from Hindi to Malayalam
