The Department of Physical Education has been
working very effectively in Sri.. Vyasa NSS College for the past many years. We
started our winning spree in sports and games years back, with a
glorious victory in Cricket in the District Championship. This record
is still maintained. We have been adjudged University Champions in
Football, Volleyball, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Kho-Kho and Chess
on several occasions.
We provide Scientific Training in Volleyball by running sports Hostel
for men in this discipline. Intensive training is imparted in
Football, Kho-Kho and Weight lifting. Facilities are open to all
students, who intend to avail facilities in Gymnasium as well as
utilize the vast Sports arena.

University (Alagappa College of Physical Education). Coaching Diploma from
National Institute of Sports Banglore in 1977. Has 25 years of
teaching experience.
We
have started a Sports Hostel in Volleyball and weight lifting which is
functioning inside the campus. This will provide ample opportunities for students
to get scientific framing in sports and games.
